Jacqueline "Jackee" Dowdye

Jacqueline “Jackee” Dowdye, 50, of Manchester, passed away on November 2, 2023 after a long illness. She was born on September 4, 1973 in Brooklyn, New York to Carlos Dowdye and Nydia Perez.

Jackee was a very genuine and family oriented person. She valued spending time with her son and family. She considered herself a spiritual person, always attending church on Sundays. Her loving heart will be missed by all who knew her.

Jackee leaves behind by her son Jayvyian Bedard of Texas; her mother Nydia Perez and partner Pedro Benitez; her father Carlos Dowdye; siblings, Doriliz Dowdye, Glady Veitia, Tashia Veitia, Jerricka Benitez, Kayla Benitez, Kiara Dowdye, and Nixalis Dowdye; her boyfriend Lamont Burge; paternal grandmother Mercedes Dowdye; and many nieces and nephews. She will be met in Heaven by her late brother Carlos Dowdye.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, November 9^th from 4-6pm at the Phaneuf Funeral Home & Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street in Manchester. A funeral service will follow at 6pm in the funeral home. Interment will be private. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend.
