JAMES BAILEY ALDRICH

SUGAR HILL, NH -- James Bailey Aldrich, 76, passed away on October 14th at Littleton Regional Healthcare, with his family by his side.

Jim was born in Littleton, NH on June 19, 1939, a son to Frederick Aldrich and Mary Bourassa Tebbetts. He graduated from Dow Academy and served in the US Navy from 1957 to 1961.

Jim was employed at Franconia Village Store and Aldrich Supermarket in Franconia prior to owning and operating The Bethlehem Village Store for many years. He later worked for the Town of Franconia as a Cemetery Assistant.

Jim had a passion for making and shooting Traditional Long Bows. He enjoyed going to Traditional Bow Shoots and traveling to Asbestos, Canada to attend the yearly Fantasia Rendezvous Bow Shoot where he had many friends.

Surviving family members include his wife, Dawn Aldrich; his children, Frederick (Rick) & Jennifer Aldrich, Wendy & Bill Jordan, Kendra & Glenn Burge, Jason Aldrich & Cheri Bryson, Janelle & Michael Cavanaugh, April & Ryan Martin, Shannon Stewart, and Rebecca (Pooh) & Will Gilson; his grandchildren, Zack Aldrich, Jamie, Emma(aka "Emmitt"), and Lindsey Jordan, Brian, Haley, and Meghan Cavanaugh, Madison Stewart, and Hadley Gilson; his sister, Susan and John Corbin; his niece and nephews, Ashley Corbin, Sam Corbin, and Alex Corbin; and his great-nephew, "Little" John Corbin. He was predeceased by his parents: Fred & Mary, his sister, Lynne, and a cousin: Lee Hutchins.

SERVICES – In honoring Jim's wishes, all services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
