JAMES B. BOYLE, SR.
BETHLEHEM, NH James B. Boyle, Sr. age 73, passed away on Friday, May 19, 2006, at the Littleton Regional Hospital.
James was born on December 15, 1932, a son to John and Helen (Goodwin) Boyle, in Whitefield, NH. James was a 1950 graduate of Littleton High School.
He enlisted into the United States Navy in 1950 and served in the Korean War and the Vietnam War, retiring from the Military after serving after 20 years. James received numerous medals and ribbons for his many years of Military Service. He retired to Newport News, Virginia for a brief period prior to moving to Littleton, where he was employed by the Littleton Elementary School for 20 years with their Maintenance Department. James was a member of the V.F.W. Howard Shawney Post #816 of Littleton and various Naval Retirement Associations. He enjoyed camping and fishing.
James is survived by his son, Jim and Corena Boyle of Plymouth, NH and a sister, Judy and Donald Mardin of Laconia, NH. His wife, Myrna (Blaney) Boyle, predeceased him in 2004.
SERVICES A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, May 24, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. in the Glenwood Cemetery in Littleton, NH with Rev. Stephen E. Bascom, Sr. officiating.
