James John Bresnahan, 76, passed away Thursday, January 13, 2000, in St. Vincents Hospital, Jacksonville, Florida. He was born in Manchester, NH on April 11, 1923, the son of Michael J. And Elizabeth (Prendiville) Bresnahan and resided most of his life in Manchester, before moving to Florida ten years ago. In 1990 James retired from the Security industry. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the 69th Infantry during WW II and the Korean Conflict. His memberships include Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Jacksonville, Florida and St. Joseph Cathedral, Manchester, NH, Veteran of Foreign Wars and Disabled American Veteran. Family members include two daughters, Mrs. Allen (Ellen M.) Ogrizovich and Mary M. Bresnahan, both of Jacksonville, Florida, two sisters, Mary J. Bresnahan and Eileen M. Bresnahan, both of Ocala, Florida. SERVICES: Calling hours are at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock in St. Joseph Cathedral, Manchester, NH. Burial will follow in the family lot in Mount Calvary Cemetery
