James R. ''Ron'' Currier, 63, of 11 Farmer Road, Hooksett, died at his residence September 19, 2000 after a long battle with cancer. He was born in Goffstown, NH on December 19, 1936, the son of Cleon and Constance (Trovato) Currier and had been a lifelong resident of this area living in Hooksett since 1965. Ron was in the Army National Guard, 176 Batallion, was a truck driver for many years and was a collector and restorer of old farm tractors. Family members include his wife of 40 years Rosemary (Ouellette) Currier of Hooksett, a son Michael Currier of Manchester, two daughters, Brenda Sprague of Manchester and Rhonda Lunderville of New Boston, four grandchildren, two brothers, Charles Currier of Texas and Robert Currier of Virginia, three sisters, Mary Toy of Newport News, Virginia, Ruby Gallien of Boscawen and Sunshine Zyla of Merrimack, several nieces, nephews and cousins. SERVICES: Calling hours are at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM.
