JAMES ALLEN CYRS
SUGAR HILL, NH - James Allen Cyrs, 77, passed away at 4:45p.m., Wednesday, May 4, 2016, at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Hospital from injuries sustained in a one vehicle accident.
Jim was born February 25, 1939 in Littleton, NH. He was always known as a man who would do anything for anyone. He was the owner of JC Plumbing & Heating Co., was an avid outdoorsman and hunter, a champion golfer, a lifetime member of the Lisbon Stump Jumpers, had been a volunteer firefighter and a Deputy Police Officer in Sugar Hill, enjoyed four-wheeling, relaxing rides in the tractor with his dog Josie or taking the motorcycle out for a long cruise.
He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Marjorie; his sister Patricia Mercer, Lumberton, NC; 4 children, Debbie Dufour and husband Robert, of Webster, Sue Liston and husband Kevin, of Sturbridge, MA, Jim Cyrs II of Sugar Hill, Kathy Cyrs of Concord.; 2 Step-children, Morris Manning and partner Melody Gibson of Easton, Scott Manning and partner JoAnn Naylor of Bethlehem; also, by Douglas and Launa Glover, always considered family in his heart. He has left behind many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Preston and Julia (Connery) Cyrs.
SERVICES -- The Celebration of Jim's Life will take place on Sunday, May 15th at the Sugar Hill Meeting House from 2pm â 4pm on Main Street, Sugar Hill, NH. The family invites JC's friends and those who knew him well to come join in remembering The Boss.
