James "Jimi D" D'Antoni

James "Jimi D" D'Antoni, 57, of Manchester died at his home on April 17, 2014 following a lengthy illness.

He was born on December 3, 1956 in Chicago, IL the son of the late Vincent D'Antoni and Virginia D'Antoni of Gilbert, AZ. He was predeceased by his biological mother Phyllis D'Antoni. James graduated from Andover High School in Andover, MA.

He worked as a union shop steward At Granite State Packing and Schonlands.

James had a creative mind. He loved music and playing guitar. He especially loved his children and grandkids.

Besides his mother, family members include his son, Keith D'Antoni of Manchester, his daughter, Alecia D'Antoni of Manchester, their mother, Jeanne Young of Manchester, 2 grandchildren Jada Baker and Audrey Poulin and one expectant grandchild, 2 brothers, Thomas "Johnson" D'Antoni and his wife Gayle of Manchester and Patrick "Geno" D'Antoni and his wife Francine of Gilbert, AZ, nephew, Michael D'Antoni and his niece, Natalee D'Antoni.

Calling Hours are at the Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover St, Manchester on Thursday from 5-7PM with a his service at 6PM.
