James W. Dewar, 87, of Manchester died November 1, 2000, at Carlyle Place, Bedford. He was born in Boston, Ma. , on March 11, 1913, the son of George and Anastasia (Wickham) Dewar and had been a resident of Manchester since 1973. He was a W.W. II Army Veteran. James was a terminal manager and Senior Vice President for P.B. Mutrie Trucking Company in Waltham, Ma. He was a parishioner of St. Patrick Church. Family members include his wife of 53 years Mary E. (O'Brien) Dewar of Manchester, two sons, James Dewar of Whitman, Ma., and Jack Dewar of North Kingstown, Rhode Island, a daughter Martha Watson of Manchester,ten grandchildren, four great grandchildren, a brother Alfred Dewar of Duxbury, Ma., several nieces, nephews and cousins. SERVICES: Calling hours are at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Avenue, Saturday morning from 9 to 11 o'clock with a Mass of Christian Burial immediately following at 11:30 O'Clock in St. Patrick Church. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetey, Bedford.
