James T. Dwyer, Jr.

James T. Dwyer, Jr., 85, of Manchester, NH, passed away on April 19, 2022 with his family by his side. He is the loving husband of Patricia (Dezendorf) Dwyer with whom he shared many years together.

He was born in Salem, MA on November 16, 1936 to the late Marguerite (Gilhooley) and James T. Dwyer, Sr.

Jim was an amateur scuba diver and held a pilot’s license. He always said that he wanted three things in life: to have a big family, own his own business, and build his own house. He proudly accomplished all three.

Jim is survived by his wife Patricia, his 6 children; Kathleen Cail and her husband Jeffrey of Cincinnati, OH, Brian Dwyer and his wife Teri Long of Green Cove Springs, FL, Steven Dwyer of Newburyport, MA, Denise Dwyer and her husband Edward Dixon of West Newbury, MA, Christine Forisso and her husband Eric of Haverhill, MA, and Michael Dwyer and his wife Emily of Groveland, MA, his siblings; Mary Jane Wormstead, Kathleen Sweeney, and David Dwyer, 10 grandchildren, 1 great grandson, 2 step sons - whom he loved as his own, 3 step grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his first wife of 56 years, Rita Dwyer, and their infant son, James.

A Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
