James Fisk

James Fisk Jr., 74, of Manchester, passed away peacefully on August 5, 2019 at his residence in Manchester. He was born in Manchester to the late James and Rachel (LaBranche) Fisk, and a lifelong resident of the City.

He spent his career working in shoe factories, lastly at Security Hill and custodian at Saint Anselm college before retirement.

James was an active parishioner and usher at St. Joseph Cathedral, and a devoted Catholic. He was a proud 4th Degree Knight of Columbus, as well as a volunteer with the Salvation Army. Jimmy enjoyed traveling, going to Foxwoods and his weekly shopping and breakfast with his sister, Shirley, in his free time. He enjoyed spending time at holidays and bar-b-ques with his sister, brother-in-law, nephew, nieces and great nephews and nieces very much.

Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his sister Doris Murray and his brother-in-law Moe Murray.

James leaves behind his sister Shirley Boisvert and her husband Ronald of Concord; nieces Darlene Roy and her husband Ernie of Lunenburg, VT, and Susan Arnold and her husband Jacob of Manchester; nephew Michael Goff of Manchester; great nieces and nephews; Joshua Goff, James Roy, Justin Roy, Frankie Roy, Corey Goff, Monica Russo, Marissa Russo, Mariah Arnold, Michaela Arnold, Jacob Arnold Jr., and Miley Arnold; and many, many cousins.

SERVICES: A gathering will be held on Tuesday August 13th from 6:30-7:30 pm at Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, located at 243 Hanover St. Manchester. A memorial service will follow in the funeral home at 7:30 pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army of Manchester, NH.
