James E. Fournier, 73, of 83 Ellingwood Street, died at Catholic Medical Center on January 10, 2004.
He was born in Norwich, CT on June 17, 1930, the son of Pierre and Edna (Bergeron) Fournier and had been a Manchester resident since 1960. He had worked at Harvey Industries for 13 years until his retirement. He was a Korean Navy Veteran.
Family members include his wife of 43 years, Estelle "Penny" (Cere) Fournier; a son, James E. Fournier II of Manchester; two daughters, Linda Freeman of Manchester and L. Parker Agrafiotis of Hooksett; six grandchildren; two brothers, Louis Fournier of Lowell, MA and Paul Fournier of Hudson; four sisters, Gertrude Defero of Lawrence, MA, Lorraine Martin of ME, Rose Lyons of Pelham and Edna Mullen of Tyngsboro, MA; and many nephews, nieces and cousins.
Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street on Tuesday from 3 to 5 PM with a funeral service to follow in the funeral home chapel at 5:00 PM.
