James Joseph Hunt
James Joseph Hunt, Jr., 54 of Manchester, passed away at his residence on May 29, 2021.
He was born in Melrose, MA on April 12, 1967, the son of James and Diane (Abbott) Hunt, Sr. He worked as a carpenter for most of his career. He enjoyed playing baseball earlier in his life and coached youth sports. He was a true outdoorsman, and loved boating, hunting, and snowmobiling.
Family members include his parents of Weare, his fiancé, Doreen Bourassa of Manchester; his stepdaughter, Jennifer Bourassa of Manchester; five grandchildren, Dantre Taylor, Ichean Taylor, Carl Taylor, Jr., Jennyah Taylor and Harley Taylor; two brothers, Timothy Hunt of Weare, and Gregory Hunt and his wife Effie of Goffstown; a sister, Stacey Pelletier and her husband Matt of Weare; a niece, Brittany Hunt of Weare; two nephews, Demetrios and Alexander Hunt; two great nieces, Rayna and Lilly Hunt; and uncles, aunts, and cousins.
There will be a celebration of life Sunday, June 13 from 12 to 4 PM at Club Canadian, 128 S. Main St. Manchester NH. Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St., Manchester, is in charge of arrangements.
