James Hutch Hutchinson

James C. ''Hutch'' Hutchinson, 75, of 122 McQuesten Street, died April 5, 2002 at Catholic Medical Center. He was born in Springfield, MA on February 14, 1927 and had lived in Massachusetts for many years prior to moving to Manchester thirty years ago. He was a World War II Army Veteran. He had worked for Hermsdorf Plastics for over 20 years as a supervisor and plant manager until his retirement. Earlier in his career, he played professional baseball. He was an avid golfer and was a long-time member of the Derryfield Country Club. He was predeceased by a son, Scott Hutchinson and by a daughter, Jeanne Bailey. Family members include his significant other of 28 years, Jeannette (Lamarche) Doucet of Manchester; three daughters, Darlene Carder of Barnstead, Robin Dacunha and Lori Hutchinson, both of Chicopee, MA; three sons, James Hutchinson of Chicopee, MA, Barry Hutchinson of Springfield, MA and Michael Hutchinson of East Longmeadow, MA; fourteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren; a sister, Carol Szcygie of Springfield, MA; and many nephews, nieces and cousins. Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A graveside service will take place on Tuesday morning at 11:00 in Mt.
