James Ross Kuhn Jr.

James R. Kuhn Jr., also known as Jim or Jimbo, 69. Born on October 30, 1955 in Bartlesville, OK to James and Shirley (Reynolds) Kuhn, died at home in Manchester, NH on August 30. 2025.

James worked many places during his lifetime including Manchester Boston Regional airport for 16 years. SRS Petroleum, and Bellmore Industries before retiring. He was a member of several private clubs around the Manchester area.

Jim was a friend to all; never a stranger. He always had a joke to tell and loved to make others laugh. He was an avid Green Bay Packers football fan and was very happy when he got to visit Lambeau Field.

Jim’s hobbies included camping, fishing, playing horseshoes, shooting pool, and taking long motorcycle rides on his Harley.

James is survived by his wife Susan (Potvin) Kuhn who he was married to for 37 years. He leaves behind 4 children: Jason M. Kuhn, Stacey L. McQueeney and husband Erik J. McQueeney, Michael A. Kuhn, and Jessica L. Kuhn. He also leaves behind 3 grandchildren: Hunter James McQueeney, Tyler Jason McQueeney, and Kaylie Kristen Kuhn. Jim also leaves behind a sister Debra Cross and her husband Joseph Cross.

There will be a memorial service for James on Saturday, September 6, 2025 from 9:00-11:00 am at Phaneuf funeral home on 243 Hanover St. in Manchester, NH. In lieu of flowers the family would like donations sent to the American Cancer Society at donate.cancer.org
