James V. Patenaude, 65, of Manchester died September 18, 2005 at Hanover Hill Health Care following a lengthy illness. Mr. Patenaude was born on January 20, 1940 in Gardener, MA the son of Arthur and Laura (Chatfield) Patenaude. He was a US Navy veteran who served his country for four years. He was a truck driver for over 20 years at Auclair Transportation and for the past ten years he was employed as a youth counselor for YDC. Mr. Patenaude was a member of the East Manchester Fish and Game Club, American Legion Post 79 and lifetime member of the DAV. Family members include; his wife of 45 years, Nancy (Magdziarz) Patenaude; one son, Russell Patenaude of Sanford, ME; one daughter, Karen Rix of Hooksett; five grandchildren; one great grandson; one brother, Eugene Patenaude of Sebring, FL; a sister, Marianne Holder of WA; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. He was predeceased by a brother, Arthur Patenaude. There will be a Memorial Service on Wednesday, October 5th at 2:00 PM at the New Hampshire State Veteran Cemetery in Boscawen.
