James F. Quinn, 80, of Alton, NH died at Huggins Hospital, Wolfeboro on November 27, 2000, after a brief illness. He was born in Manchester on April 15, 1920, the son of James F. and Catherine (Kearns) Quinn, Sr., and was educated in the Goffstown Schools System. James was in the Civil Conservation Corps during the late 1930's and served as a buglar in the N.H. National Guard, 172nd field artillery and also served in the pacific theater in the US Army during W.W. II. He is predeceased by his first wife, Helen (Stanska) Quinn and his second wife, Helena (Morin) Quinn. Family members include a son, James Quinn of Walton, NY, three grandchildren, two brothers, George E. Quinn of Goffstown and Daniel J. Quinn of Manchester, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
