James Robert Shea

James Robert Shea, Sr. 74, of 374 Amory Street, died April 1, 2000, at Maple Leaf Health Care Center. He was born in Holyhoke, Ma., October 27, 1920, the son of Patrick and Minnie (Canfield) Shea and had been a resident of Manchester for most of his life. He was a W.W. II Army Veteran, a member of the American Legion Post # 79. James went out of his way to be a good father. Family members include his wife of 47 years, Merle (Dean) Shea, three sons, Allan Shea, James Shea, Jr., all of Manchester and John Shea of Suncook, a step son, Russell Howard of Claremont, a step daughter Phyllis Marquis of Manchester, 13 grandchildren, several great grandchildren.
