Jamie Lee Flanders, age 52, of Epsom, NH, passed away on September 3, 2025 at Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA. He was born in Nashua, NH, beloved son of James “Jim” and Donna (Bureau) Flanders.
Jamie enjoyed fishing with his family, most notably at The Narrows, and supporting his children at their many sports events and school plays. He was always excited to help with school projects. His passions included service to his country as part of the US Army, caring for his red convertible Mustang, Ruby, and finding the best places for great tacos. He always had a passion for sharks, lighthouses, and the ocean. Jamie had an infectious laugh, and anyone who knew him will certainly remember his always fun, sometimes dark, usually sarcastic sense of humor.
Jamie graduated from Milford High School and worked at a variety of companies where he could often showcase his talents in digital design and computer technologies. He was known for his support of those who served in the military. Jamie loved sports cars and Jeeps and enjoyed attending car shows throughout the northeast. He also enjoyed attending concerts and listening to his nostalgic 80s rock music.
Jamie was clever and resourceful – often helping others, offering his ability to solve problems large and small, especially when he could offer a hand to friends, family, or neighbors.
Jamie is survived by his wife, Kelly Flanders; his children, Matthew Flanders, Katrina Flanders, and Alayna Flanders; his mother, Donna Flanders; his brother, Peter Flanders and wife Samantha Flanders; and three grandchildren, Yuliana, Hope, and Mia. He will be remembered by many loving uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Sadly, he is preceded in death by his father James “Jim” Flanders, his maternal grandparents, Theodore and Fleurette Bureau and paternal grandparents, Frank and Eleanor Flanders.
Rest in peace, Jamie.
A private family service will be held to honor his life, after which Jamie will finally fulfill his life-long dream of swimming with the sharks as his remains will be sent to his final resting place – a memorial coral reef.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites donations in Jamie’s memory to organizations that reflect his passions and values:
