Jane P Robidoux

Jane P. Robidoux, 69, of Manchester, left this earthly world on August 15, 2021, with loved ones around her. She had been quietly fighting a courageous battle with metastatic cancer.

She was born in Manchester on June 24, 1952, the daughter of Leo and Rita (Caron) Robidoux. Jane attended Manchester schools and had worked at St. Peters Home (Daycare) for over 35 years until her recent retirement. Prior to finding her life’s calling as a daycare teacher, she spent several years in Canada striving to become a nun and working as a hairdresser. She was most passionate about taking care of and teaching her daycare students. Miss Janie, as she was lovingly known at St. Peter’s Home, put a lot of creative energy into creating a warm and inviting classroom. She will be fondly remembered for helping other co-workers and spent her time enriching herself as a daycare teacher. She loved to read, play computer games and watch movies on her kindle. Jane was truly happiest simply connecting heart-to-heart with friends and her family. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Kenneth Robidoux.

Family members include her brother, Michael Robidoux and his wife Jennifer of Manchester; her sister, Diane Cygan of Concord; and cousins, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, and grandnieces.

A memorial gathering will take place at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St, Manchester on Saturday from 1:00 to 2:30 PM with a memorial service to follow in the funeral home chapel at 2:30 PM.
