Janet Furber (Swormstedt) Cullerot, 74, of Manchester, passed away at Portsmouth Regional Hospital on June 5, 2012 with her family by her side following a long illness.
She was as born in Laconia, on January 4, 1938, the daughter of John F. and Ruth A. (Prescott) Swormstedt and later moved to Manchester. Janet graduated from Manchester Central High School in 1956 and was previously employed by Prudential Insurance Company in Manchester. She enjoyed following the basketball careers of her two granddaughters. She was predeceased in 2011 by her loving husband of 51 years, Norman R. Cullerot and by a sister, Marjorie Gray.
Family members include her son, Kenneth J. Cullerot and his wife Joanne (Ploss) Cullerot of Hampton; two granddaughters Libby Cullerot of Manchester and Katie Cullerot of Hampton; two sisters, Judith Baer and her husband Thomas of Goffstown, and Jacqueline Dougharty and her husband Buddy of League City, TX; a brother-in-law Lionel Cullerot and sister-in-law Jacqueline Cullerot of Goffstown; and nephews, nieces and cousins.
Funeral services will be private. Burial will take place in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
