JANET L. FORD BEDFORD – Janet L. (Leavitt) Ford, 77, died Wednesday, May 28, 2008, at home in Bedford. Mrs. Ford was born on October 28, 1930, in White River Junction, VT, the daughter of Henry and Charlotte (Elliot) Leavitt. She was a resident of Bedford for the past 26 years. Prior to this she resided in Dover, NH for 17 years. She liked cooking and spending time with her family. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. Mrs. Ford liked to vacation in Wells, Maine, where she would plan family get togethers. Members of her family include; her husband of 51 years, John B. Ford, of Bedford, 1 son, Rand L. Ford, of Bedford; 1 daughter, Robin Adams, of Enfield, NH; 3 grandchildren, 3 brothers, Henry Leavitt, of Wilder, VT; William Leavitt, of Burlington, VT; Edward Leavitt, of Wilder, VT; 3 sisters, Jean Leavitt, of Lowell, MA; June Gunzinger, of Florida; Rachel Darrah, of Wilder, VT; many nieces and nephews. IN HER LIFE: Very special to Mrs. Ford were her 3 grandchildren, Patrick Adams, of Enfield, NH; and Jordan Ford and Sydney Ford, both of Bedford, NH. SERVICES: A memorial service will be held at a later date.
