Janet M. Hunt

Janet Marie Blair Hunt passed away on July 4, 2026, at the age of 80. Born on July 6, 1945, to parents Alcid and Virginia Blair (Hovey). She was the wife of Stephen Hunt who were married on February 8, 1967, in St. Johnsbury, VT.

Growing up in Vermont, she attended Lydon Center School. She had a special love for her cats, who were treasured companions throughout the years. An avid knitter, she found great satisfaction in creating handmade items. Janet also enjoyed taking scenic car rides. She will be remembered. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Janet was predeceased by her brother, Earl and a sister, Jeannie.

She was survived by her brothers, Gerry Blair and Robert “Bobbie” Blair and his wife, Linda. She is also survived by four children- her sons, Stephen Hunt Jr. and Eddie Bolduc both of Laconia, NH and daughters, Stephanie Hunt of Franconia, NH, and Candy Cole.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday July 18, 2026, beginning at 10AM at the Lyndon Center Cemetery where Janet will be laid to rest besides her parents.
