Janice Moynihan, 90, died on Friday, May 25, 2018. She was born on December 5, 1927, daughter of the late James and Gladys (Hatch) Abbott. She enjoyed 67 years of marriage with her late husband, Thomas Moynihan.
Raised and educated in Derry, Janice later worked as a secretary for the Derry School District, where she also coached sports at the Junior High School. She was a fantastic artist who loved to draw and paint, and she loved spending time at the beach. Most of all, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who cherished time spent with her family.
Survivors include her children, Michael Moynihan and wife Carol of Londonderry; Jen Moore and husband David of Derry; Karen Boulay of Derry; Colleen Nolin and husband Ralph of Largo, FL; Kathleen Nolin and husband Richard of Deerfield; her sister, Gloria Klein of Brattleboro, VT; as well as 11 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and extended family members. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her grandson, Jeffrey Nolin and son-in-law, Andrew Boulay.
A graveside service will be held at Forest Hill Cemetery, Cemetery Road, Derry, NH on Wednesday, May 30th at 10:00am.
