Jean J. Beliveau, 87, of 55 South Main Street, died July 26, 2002 at the Elliot Hospital. He was born in Manchester on March 17, 1915, the son of Arcadius and Jeanne (Morrissette) Beliveau and had been a lifelong resident of the city. He was a veteran of the United States Army and was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church. He had worked for the Manchester Highway Department for 20 years. Family members include his wife of 60 years, Cecile (Hebert) Beliveau; two sons, Andre Beliveau of Manchester and Raymond Beliveau of Londonderry; two daughters, Marquerite Smith and Irene Beliveau, both of Manchester; ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren; a brother, Adrien Beliveau of Bedford; and several nephews, nieces and cousins. Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street on Monday evening from 7 to 9 PM. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday morning at 10:00. Burial will take place in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Lung Association, 456 Beech Street, Manchester, NH 03101.
