Born in Manchester, she is the daughter of Elizabeth (Bonner) Puchacz and the late Stephen Puchacz. Raised and educated in Manchester, she was a graduate of Memorial High School and attended Keene State College. In 1969, Jean married the love of her life, Wayne, and started a beautiful family.
Prior to retirement in 2012, Jean had been employed at Public Service of New Hampshire for 7 years. While raising her four children, Jean worked tirelessly at Verizon and the former Bell Atlantic Phone Co. to provide a comfortable and happy home for her growing family, also known as "The Six Pack."

Jean loved to play with them and shower them with unconditional love. Jean and Wayne took great pleasure in decorating their home for the holiday season and opening their home to friends and family for countless celebrations. Jean and Wayne created long lasting memories by partaking on yearly vacations with their children to attend Coca Cola conventions. If you couldn't find either of them, just go to the flea market. Jean will be best remembered for her generous heart and uncanny ability to light up any room with her witty sense of humor. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
