Jean-Guy R. Gagne, 63, of 68 Laval Street, died October 17, 2000, at Catholic Medical Center. He was born in Magas, P.Q., Canada on July 1, 1937, the son of Paul and Irene (Trepeniere) Gagne and had been a resident of Manchester since 1970. He owned and operated Maxwells Market with his wife and also Lisa's Kitchen and the Bean Pot. Jean-Guy was a parishioner of St. Jean Baptiste Church. Family members include his wife of 40 years, Lise (Guertin) Gagne of Manchester, two sons, Daniel Gagne of Goffstown and Yves Gagne of Manchester, his mother of Magog, Canada, five grandchildren, a brother Bertrand Gagne of Gramby, Canada, two sisters, Claudette Cliche of Magog, Canada and Jacqueline Raymond of Sherbrook, Canada, several nieces, nephews and cousins. SERVICES: Calling hours are at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, Friday from 2 to 4 with the service immediately following in our chapel at 4 PM. Donations may be made in his memory to one's favorite charity.
