Jean Paul “Frenchy” Huot, 67, died October 30, 2006, at the Hospice House, in Concord, following a long illness.

Mr. Huot was born on May 24, 1939, in Quebec, Canada, the son of the late Emile and Alma (Gosselin) Huot

Prior to his retirement, Mr. Huot was employed as a truckdriver for Advance Paving.

Mr. Huot was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was loved by many people. He enjoyed baseball, hockey and bingo.

Members of his family include, his wife of 18 years, Cecile (Clermont) Huot, of Allenstown; 2 sons, William Cook, of Allenstown; Patrick Cook, of Manchester; 3 daughters, Sheila Cook, of Concord; Michelle Huot and Sonia Huot, both of Quebec, Canada; 7 grandchildren; 1 brother, Raymond Huot, of Quebec, Canada; 4 sisters, Theresa Cote, Alice Guay, Renaud Jones, Doris Huot, all of Quebec, Canada, many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be Thursday from 2 - 4 PM and 7 – 9 PM at Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover Street, corner of Union Street, in Manchester. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, 10 A.M. at St. John the Baptist Church, 10 School Street, in Allenstown. Burial will follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Concord Regional Visiting Nurse Association, 250 Pleasant Street, PO Box 1797, Concord, NH 03302-1797, in memory of Mr. Huot.
