Jean Labrie, 85, of Auburn, passed away on December 3, 2022 at Premier Healthcare, Nashua.
Born in Suncook, NH, he is the son of the late Henry and Ubalda Labrie. An honorably discharged veteran, Jean proudly served his country as a member of the United States Air Force.
A dedicated husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, Jean was the pillar of strength for his family. He cherished time spent with his grandchildren and was proud of each of their accomplishments. One of Jean’s greatest joys was eating breakfast, especially with his family and friends around the table. Each morning, Jean loved to brew coffee for his beloved wife, Annette. A devoted Catholic, Jean was a long time parishioner of St. Peter’s Church, Auburn, and member of the Knights of Columbus. An avid sports fan, Jean loved watching horse racing, football, and, of course, the Red Sox. Jean will be best remembered for his kind heart and love of family.
Jean is survived by his two sons, Paul Labrie and wife Debra, and Leon Labrie; seven grandchildren, Marc Labrie, Leon Haines and Rebecca, Felicia Kiefer and husband Brian, Monique Harnum and husband David, Jeremy Stiner, Jason Stiner and wife Mikco, and Joshua Stiner; eight great grandchildren, Claire, Ellianna, Dawson, Hunter, Annette, Silas, Jack and Bradley; brother, Claude Labrie; sister, Irene Bosse; nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends. In addition to his parents, Jean was predeceased by his wife, Annette, and son, Henry Labrie.
ARRANGEMENTS: His Visitation will be held at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St, Manchester on Thursday, December 8 from 4:00 to 7:00P.M. The Celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Peter’s Church, 567 Manchester Road, Auburn, on Friday, December 9 at 10:00A.M. Committal Service with Military Honors to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
