Mr. Jean J. L'Esperance, 65, of 56 Joliette Street, Manchester, died May 16, 2002, at the Elliot Hospital. He was born May 2, 1937 in Manchester, NH the son of the late George and Alice (Lamontagne) L'Esperance and had been a lifelong resident of the Queen City. He worked for the Goffstown Highway Department with 30 years of service. Jean was a member of the Pinardville Athletic Club. Family members include his wife of 43 years Arline (Breton) L'Esperance of Manchester, three sons, Jean L'Esperance, Raymond L'Esperance, both of Manchester and Robert L'Esperance of Hooksett, two daughters, Diane Schuh of Poulsbo, Washington and Denise Milton of Merrimack, NH, ten grandchildren, two brothers, George L'Esperance and Robert L'Esperance, both of Manchester, several nephews, nieces and cousins. SERVICES: Calling hours are at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium chapel, 243 Hanover Street, Friday evening from 5 to 8 with the service following at 8 o'clock in the funeral home chapel.
