Jeanne Y. Dionne, a beloved member of the Manchester, NH community, passed away on July 8, 2024, in Venice, Florida. Born on August 21, 1941, to the late Euclide Dionne & Rose Vallee, in Manchester, NH, Jeanne lived a life filled with warmth, thoughtfulness, and love that touched the hearts of all who knew her.
Jeanne's journey through life was marked by her dedication to various roles. She worked diligently in many insurance offices and served as a dedicated bookkeeper for her brother, Moe. Her commitment to work not only allowed her to excel professionally but also allowed her to forge lasting friendships with colleagues along the way.
Graduating from St. Marie High School in Manchester, NH, Jeanne valued education and continuous learning throughout her life. Her passion for sewing, knitting, and crocheting shone through as she left behind numerous hand-made keepsakes for loved ones and charities—a testament to her caring and generous nature.
Following her retirement to Florida over 20 years ago, Jeanne found joy in cooking for others and spending time with her cherished family and friends. Her love for dogs and all animals reflected her compassionate soul. A devout Catholic, Jeanne's faith was a cornerstone of her being. She found solace and strength in her beliefs and lived as a lifelong churchgoer—an example of unwavering faith and devotion.
Jeanne Dionne leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories. She is survived by her brother Maurice Dionne of Bedford, NH.
Services to commemorate Jeanne's life will be held at Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium - Coolidge for visitation from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM on July 18, 2024. A Funeral Service will follow at St. Catherine Church in Manchester from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM with the burial at Mount Calvary Cemetery from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM on the same day.
