Jeanne L. Gagnon

Jeanne L. Gagnon, 100, of Manchester, NH died on Friday, January 28, 2022 at her residence in Manchester, NH.  

Mrs. Gagnon was born on December 14, 1921, in Manchester, NH, the daughter of the late Adelard and Mary Jane (Boisvert) Courchesne. She was a lifelong resident of Manchester.

At the time of her employment, Mrs. Gagnon was employed for many years as a floor lady at Myrna Shoe Company, in Manchester.   

Her hobbies were crocheting afghans and making chocolate candies for the families. She also loved traveling but her passion was playing cards, bingo and traveling to Las Vegas and Foxwoods.

Members of her family include; her daughter, Muriel Gagnon, of Manchester, NH; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Gagnon was predeceased by her husband Gerard H. Gagnon, who died in May 2003.  

SERVICES: Calling hours will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2022 from 9 – 11 AM at Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, in Manchester. A funeral service will follow at 11 AM in the funeral home chapel. Committal prayers will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum, in Manchester.    

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Sisters of The Precious Blood, 700 Bridge Street, Manchester, NH 03104, in memory of Mrs. Gagnon.
