Jeanne A. Hadley

Jeanne A. (Marcotte) Hadley, 89, died May 26, 2008 at Massachusetts General Hospital after a brief illness. She was born in Manchester on October 14, 1918 the daughter of Hormidas and Marie ( Marion) Marcotte. Mrs. Hadley lived most of her life in Manchester and lived in Sacramento, Calif. for a few years waiting for her husband to return from WWII. She enjoyed singing in the" Sweet Adalines" of Bedford for some years. She enjoyed many years vacationing with her husband in Maine and England. She enjoyed her family and did so much for them as a wonderful, sweet and caring mother and grandmother. In Manchester she made a lovely home and raised her five children there. Mrs. Hadley was predeceased by her husband Bernard Hadley who died in 1993. Family members included three sons K. Peter Hadley of Santa Rosa, Calif.; James P. Hadley of Bedford, NH and Richard L. Hadley of Auburn, Calif.; Two daughters Jeannie M. Ackerley of Roxbury, Ma. and Mrs. Stephen (Nancy) McDonald of Bedford, NH ; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
