Jeanne E. (Levesque) Jalbert, 71, of Amherst, passed away on May 7, 2016 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack.
She was born in Nashua on June 20, 1944, the daughter of Ralph and Irene (Verheyen) Levesque. She attended the Concord School of Nursing and was a registered nurse throughout her career. She retired from Amherst Family Practice in 2010. She loved going to her lake camp in Belmont, and enjoyed traveling, kayaking, eagle watching and picnics. But most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family. She was predeceased by her parents and brother, Robert Levesque.
Family members include her loving partner, Jim Boutwell; her son, Benjamin Jalbert and his wife Jodi of Amherst; two daughters, Stephanie Fink and her husband Jim of Bedford and Jennifer Crook and her husband Darren of Amherst; six grandchildren, Alexandria, Kyle, Andrew, Cameron, Sam, and Abby; one great grandson, Asher; a brother, Ronald Levesque and his wife Donna of Ossipee; and several nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
A memorial gathering will take place at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Ave, Manchester, on Friday from 4 to 6 PM with a memorial service to follow in the funeral home at 6 PM. Valet parking will be available. Committal services will be held on Saturday morning at 11:00 AM in St. Louis Cemetery in Nashua. For more information, go to www.phaneuf.net
