Jeanne Louise LaSalle, 95, of Manchester, NH, passed away on June 28, 2023, at Elliot Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Jeanne was born on May 30, 1928, in Manchester, NH, a daughter of the late Romeo and Yvonne DesRochers. She shared 60 years of marriage with her late husband, Philip LaSalle.
Jeanne was a lifelong Manchester resident and graduated from Manchester West High School in 1946. A devoted homemaker, Jeanne's primary joy in life was her family. She was an active member of her community and was involved with the Manchester Parks and Recreation Department, contributing her time and efforts to the "Walk For Your Health" program for over 30 years, as well as participating in the dart league. She was an exceptional bowler at Lakeside Lanes, receiving many trophies. She treasured moments spent socializing with her family and friends, spending time at the beach, and enjoying ice cream.
Jeanne is survived by her children, Janice Morin and her husband Michael of Manchester, Patrice Helie of Manchester, and John LaSalle and his wife Diana of Auburn; her sister, Lucille Huard of Florida; her grandchildren, Jaime and Matthew Morin, Stephanie Eddy, Shannon Matthews, Richard, Jennifer, Amanda and Christopher LaSalle; her great-grandchildren, Lexi, Peyton, Gage and Ellie; as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Jeanne was predeceased by her siblings, Roger, Bert, Donald, Joseph, Rachel and Georgette; and her son-in-law, Randy Helie.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10AM on Saturday, July 1st at Blessed Sacrament Parish, 14 Elm Street, Manchester, NH. She will be laid to rest at 10AM on Monday, July 3rd at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen, NH.
