Jeanne A. Wiggin

JEANNE A. WIGGIN MANCHESTER – Jeanne A. (Morgan) Wiggin, 68, died Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at Concord Regional Visiting Nurse Association Hospice House, in Concord. Mrs. Wiggin was born on October 16, 1939, in Concord, NH, the daughter of Edward O. and Marcelle (Laplante) Morgan. She grew in Concord, and attended local schools. In 1957, she graduated from Concord High School. In the summer of 1959, she moved to Manchester with her husband. She worked for several years in insurance and banking prior to her retirement. After retirement, she worked part time at Hannaford’s Supermarket and Filene’s Department Store. Mrs. Wiggin volunteered at the V.A. Hospital, in Manchester. Mrs. Wiggin especially loved spending time with family and her pets. Her interests include; music, crocheting, knitting, sewing, reading and shopping. Members of her family include; her son, David C. Wiggin of Manchester; a daughter, Lisa Wiggin, of Allenstown; 6 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, 3 sisters, Doris A. Rolinson, of Londonderry, NH; Lucille L. Arsenault, of Lowell, MA; Phyllis M. Shea, of Ellsworth, ME; several nieces, nephews, 1 great niece, and cousins. Mrs. Wiggin was predeceased by her husband, Charles D. Wiggin, who died in March 1993. SERVICES: A Memorial Gathering will be Sunday, October 28, from 10 A.M. – 12 Noon at Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover Street, corner of Union Street, in Manchester. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to The Manchester Animal Shelter, 490 Dunbarton Road, Manchester, NH 03102; or to CHAD at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, 1 Medical Center Drive, Lebanon, NH, 03756, in memory of Mrs. Wiggin.
