Jeannette A. Allard

Jeannette A. Allard, 73, of Stark Lane in Manchester passed away Sunday, February 4, 2007 at Boston Medical Center as a result of injuries sustained in an earlier accident. Jan was born on July 24, 1933 in Cambridge, MA the daughter of Benoit and Catherine (Lavigne) Vaccarest. She grew up in Manchester and was a graduate of Saint George’s High School. Jeannette was a retiree from New England Telephone where she was employed for over thirty years. She will always be remembered as a loving mother and wife. She lived her life through her kids and family. She was a giver and believer and encouraged her kids to dream and believe. Jan was a selfless woman who had a passion for helping others. She is survived by her husband of nine years, Richard E. Allard; her oldest daughter, Cathy Hendricks of Phoenix, Arizona; her oldest son, Mark and his wife, Mary Jo Hendricks and their children, Kristen and Colin all of Albuquerque, New Mexico; her youngest son, Jeffrey and his wife, Sylvia Hendricks of Cranberry, Pennsylvania; a sister, Doris and her husband, Richard Leshner of San Antonio, Texas; a niece, Debra Hale of Deerborn, Michigan; and nephew, Richard Leshner Jr. of Merrimack.
