Jeannette F. Gill, 77, 434 Reed Street, died May 2, 2001, at Catholic Medical Center. She was born in Manchester on January 11, 1924, the daughter of Harold and Clara (Roy) Kay and had been a lifelong resident of the Queen City. Jeannette enjoyed camping and was a member of Good Sam & Freedom Campers Association and the Pioneers. She was a parishioner of St. Jean Baptiste Church and a member of St. Anne Sodality of that parish. Family members include her husband of 55 years, Gerard Gill of Manchester, a son, Gerard Gill of Deerfield, a daughter Jeanne Heon of Jupiter, Florida, six grandchildren, a brother Harold Kay of Spring Hill, Florida, several nephews, nieces and cousins. SERVICES: Calling hours are at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Avenue, Friday from 5 to 8 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday at 12 o'clock Noon. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
