Jeannette J. (Breton) Jacques, 93, of Manchester NH, died on Friday, July 24, 2020 after a period of declining health. She was the wife of the late Joseph Jacques.
Jeannette was born on February 3, 1927 in Saint-Léon de Standon P.Q. Canada. She was the daughter of the late Hormidas and Rose-Aimeé (Chouinard) Breton. She was educated in Canada and moved to the United States in 1956.
Prior to her retirement she worked as a Merrow Machine Operator at Pandora in Manchester. She enjoyed sewing and playing cards with her friends.
She is survived by her two daughters, Claudette Grenier her husband, Réal, and Gaétane Benner her husband, Dana; three grandchildren, Michael Grenier, his wife, Isabelle, Sonya Wiggin, her husband, Kevin, Sarah Zackowski her husband, Steven; five great-grandchildren, Camryn and Amelia Grenier, Nathan Wiggin, Sophia and Emma Zackowski as well as many nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her son Denis Jacques and her brothers, Emile, Henri, Adelard and Paul Breton.
ARRANGEMENTS: Due to Covid-19 a funeral Mass for Jeannette's family and close friends will be held on Saturday, August 8th at St. Anthony Church, 172 Belmont Street, Manchester at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in St. Augustin Cemetery. Those attending are asked to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
