Jeannette Lesmerises
Jeannette Marie (Levesque) Lesmerises, 89, died peacefully in her Hooksett home on September 1st, 2018. She was born on September 14, 1928 in St. Marie New Brunswick, Canada, to Oliver Levesque and Sophie (Daigle) Levesque.
Jeannette married her lifelong partner, the late Roland Lesmerises, on May 30th, 1951 in Manchester, NH, where they enjoyed a happy marriage for 65 years until Roland passed in March of 2018.
Jeannette loved all her children with passion. There was nothing she would not do for her children, let alone anyone else. She was a hard worker and provided everything her children needed.
After retirement she and her husband Roland loved to travel, to just hop in the car and go out for a drive anywhere, and to stop at some out of the way diner or restaurant and taste the local cuisine. It never mattered where it was. In doing so they would stop at yard sales along the way and pick up all sorts of trinkets and items, which in turn allowed them to go to flea markets and sell what they would acquire. For them, this was not a money making or profitable endeavor, however, they enjoyed and loved the process of haggling the price of an item with folks with the same desire and love of flea marketing.
Jeannette is survived by her four sons, Nelson Lesmerises of Hooksett NH; Alan Lesmerises of Chichester, NH; Richard Lesmerises of Chichester, NH; Albert Lesmerises of Manchester, NH and 2 daughters, Marsha Lesmerises (Schiavarelli) of Cape Coral, FL. and the late Carmen Lesmerises.
Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Wednesday, September 19th at 1:00 PM at the NH State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, NH with her son, Nelson Lesmerises, officiating. Her family will be hosting a time of gathering at their house immediately after the service.
Jeannette will be missed and is beloved so very much by all of her children. We are all grateful that she is in a far better place with Roland and her daughter Carmen. Mom, there is not enough gratitude that we can give to you. You are the best. We all love you.
No formal services will be held at this time. Flowers are not necessary, although thoughts are appreciated.
