Manchester, NHâJeannette G. Marcoux, 92, passed away on January 19, 2015 at Maple Leaf Nursing Home. She was born in Manchester on April 3rd, in 1922 and was a lifelong resident. Jeannette was the daughter of the late Henri and Anna (St. Denis) Boucher. Jeannette was married to Donald A. Pepin who passed away in 1985 and to Louis J. Marcoux who passed away in 2007.
Jeannette graduated from Holy Angels High School in 1940 as Valedictorian and was awarded a scholarship to Rivier College in Nashua. She was a former member of CWV and ACGS (American-Canadian Genealogical Society), tracing 4 families back 12 generations to their origins in France. Jeannette worked as a legal secretary for various New Hampshire law firms and was also a notary public. She loved line dancing, gardening, and playing the organ.
Jeanette is survived by her children Marguerite (husband Bob) Landry of Greenfield, Jeanne (husband Alan) Pinet of Merrimack, Gerard (wife Julie) Pepin of Manchester, Ronald (wife Evelyn) Pepin of Manchester, and Laurette (wife Kim Wallace) Pepin from San Jose, California, 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and her brother, Alfred Boucher of Manchester, She also leaves behind many other family members and many good friends.
In addition to her parents and 2 husbands, Jeannette was also predeceased by her 3 brothers, Adelard Boucher, Emile Boucher and Armand Boucher, and her 5 sisters, Regina Pepin, Cecile Boucher, Marie Petrain, Yvonne LaBlond and Sr. Marie Boucher.
Services: All are invited to attend calling hours on Friday January 23rd between the hours of 5pm and 8pm at Phaneuf Funeral Home 250 Coolidge Ave Manchester. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday January 24th at 10 am at Ste. Marie Roman Catholic Church 378 Notre Dame Ave Manchester with a burial immediately following at Mt Calvary Cemetery 474 Goffstown Rd Manchester.
