Jeannette B. (Rene) Poulin, 87, of Manchester died unexpectedly July 30, 2008 at the Hillsborough County Nursing Home in Goffstown. She was born on February 24, 1921 in Manchester the daughter of the late Hormidas and Marie Anna (Champagne) Poulin. She was raised and educated in Manchester. Mrs. Poulin was a lifelong resident of Manchester. She worked at Manchester Knitted Fashions for over ten years. Previously she had worked at Manchester Coat Company. Mrs. Poulin was a communicant of St. Anthony Church in Manchester. She was a member of the Columbiettes #5260. She enjoyed crocheting, dancing, bingo and arts and crafts. She had also liked camping at Maple Grove in Allenstown over the years. She was a very caring person. Jeannette especially loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her 3 sons, Donald Poulin of Manchester, Richard Poulin of Bedford and Robert Poulin of Center Barnstead; 9 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Richard Rene Manchester and Real Rene of Manchester and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband George N. Poulin who died in 1980. Calling Hours are at the Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover St, Manchester on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10:00AM at St. Anthony Church, Belmont St, Manchester. Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Manchester.
