Jeannette T. Lemieux

Jeannette T. Lemieux, 96, of Manchester, NH passed away on Monday, September 16 at the Hillsborough County Nursing Home in Goffstown, NH. Born on October 6, 1927 in Windham, CT to the late William and Zelire (Paquette) Houle, she would eventually settle down on the west side of Manchester where she spent most of her life.

Jeannette spent her working years at Velcro, where she met her life long friend and former boss Bev Dionne. She spent her summers at her family lakehouse on Pleasant lake in Deerfield, NH, where she was proud to host family and friends. One of her many hobbies included a love for friends and bowling in leagues at King's bowling alley and Lakeside lanes. Family gatherings at her house would always be accompanied by many rounds of card games. Those who knew Jeannette will remember that she was always quick with a joke or a story and that she was full of love, kindness and laughter.

Jeannette was predeceased by her ex-husband Gabriel Lemieux, her son Raymond Lemieux, siblings Gilley, Bob and Lucille, and her long term companion Oscar Dube.

She is survived by her children Lorraine Lemieux Aubin and her husband Bob, Don Lemieux and his wife Sue, Jerry Lemieux and his wife Lisa; grandchildren Ryan Lemieux and his wife Tina, Dan Lemieux and his wife Ashley, Matt  Lemieux and Chris Lemieux; great grandchildren Dylan, Alina, Marshall and Blakely Lemieux; as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Jeannette's family would like to thank the wonderful nurses and aides at the Hillsborough County Nursing Home for their care of Jeannette over the past five years.

A celebration of Jeannette's life will be held on Monday, September 23 at 11 am at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Rd. Manchester NH, 03102.
