Jeannine R. Boucher of Manchester, NH, passed away at Mt. Carmel nursing home on January 4, 2019, She was born in Trois Rivere, Canada on February 26, 1930. She was the daughter of George and Aunore Champoux Parenteau. Jeannine came to Manchester with her aunt and uncle after the death of her mother in 1937.
Jeannine attended St. Anthony high school and graduated in 1948. She worked at the Treasurer's office at the Manchester City hall in the early 50's. She stayed at home for 13 years to raise her family and then went to work at St. Vincent De Paul store for 32 years.
Jeannine's hobbies included sewing, crocheting, knitting, but most of all her favorite hobbies were to read and travel.
Jeannine's family included her husband of 62 years (predeceased) Maurice, her two daughters Diane Huot of New Haven, CT, Suzanne Munsey and her husband Ron of Manchester, NH, and her son Denis and his wife Kellie of Center Barnstead, NH. She leaves behind a legacy of 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium located at 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH on January 8, 2019 from 5 PM until 8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Piux X Church on January 9, 2019 at 10 AM located in Manchester, NH. A Burial will follow immediately after Mass at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Manchester, NH.
