Jeannine A. Saunders

Brattleboro VT – Jeannine A Saunders passed away peacefully at Brattleboro Memorial Hospital on March 24 , 2021 following a brief illness. Jeannine was born in Guilford, VT to the late Cyrus and Eva (Cook) Merrifield.

She was an employee for the Brattleboro book press for many years as a binder. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren ,family and friends at special gatherings. She loved to take rides along the back roads of NH & VT. She will be dearly missed and forever remembered.

Jeannine is preceded in death by her husband Melvin E Saunders Sr., longtime companion Frank Witkowski, and her sons Melvin E Saunders Jr of Vernon VT and Eric Saunders Sr of Hubert, NC.

She is survived by her children & their spouses, Catherine Coulombe & Wayne of Greenfield Mass ; Gary Saunders & Kimberly of Hinsdale NH; Neal Saunders & Janice of Vernon VT; Keith Saunders & Annette of Brattleboro VT & Calif. She leaves 17 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
