Jeffrey W. O'Donnell, 57, of Manchester, passed away Sunday, June 14, in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loving family after a long battle with cancer.
A beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend, Jeff was the pillar of strength for his family. He cherished time spent with his family and many dear friends. Despite his illness, Jeff was an inspiration to all who knew and loved him. His positivity and sense of humor were simply infectious. He embraced the joys and struggles of life and continually proclaimed, "Celebrate Being" to encourage friends and family to relish every moment of every day. Jeff found great comfort and companionship in his Bernese Mountain Dog, Liam, and his grand-puppy, Daisy. Throughout his life, Jeff loved spending time with his family and friends skiing, golfing, and vacationing. As a child, he enjoyed backyard sports with his sister, Moe. Jeff was a dedicated coach in Litchfield, encouraging each player to reach their full potential. An avid sports fan, Jeff cheered his New England teams to countless victories. Jeff will be best remembered for his passion for life, jovial spirit, kind heart, and dedication to family.
Jeff is survived by his beloved wife, Debbie O'Donnell, with whom he shared 27 beautiful years of marriage; his daughter, Aly "Punkin" and future son-in-love, Shane; son, Jake O'Donnell; father, Francis X. O'Donnell, Sr; sister, Moe O'Donnell; niece, Nikki Ahearn; his brother and sister-in-laws; several nieces, nephews, and dear family and friends who all were important to Jeff and brought richness to his life.
Born in Natick, Massachusetts, Jeff is the son of Francis X. O'Donnell, Sr. and the late Rosemary (Vacario) Crescitelli. Jeff was predeceased by his brother, Francis X. O'Donnell, Jr.
ARRANGEMENTS: His Visitation will be held in the Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St., Manchester, on Thursday, June 18 from 2:00 to 4:00P.M. followed by his Funeral Service at 4:00P.M. Due to State of NH guidelines, all guests are required to wear masks and encouraged to social distance.
