Jennifer M. Chames

Jennifer M. Chames, 58, of Hooksett, NH passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2024.  

Ms. Chames was born on December 10, 1965, in South Weymouth, MA, the daughter of the late James and Lorraine (Boyajian) Chames.

Prior to her retirement, she was employed as an accounts specialist and worked for Amica Insurance Company for over 30 years.

She enjoyed spending time with her children and her new grandson and relaxed many days and evenings at her summer spot on Lake Winnipesaukee.  She has been involved with many different clubs and organizations previously including Kiwanis Club of Hooksett, CASA of New Hampshire: Advocating for NH Children, and The Hooksett Community Food Pantry.  She was known for always lighting up a room with her presence and was fond of bringing people together given her friendly, warm and outgoing personality.  Her relationships and friendships included a very wide circle.  

Members of her family include her daughter, Gina Russell, of Dover, NH, her son, Timothy Bret Russell, of Scarborough, ME, Kathryn White, of Boston, MA, one grandchild Beau, a brother, Michael Chames, of Hooksett, NH, a sister, Kathleen Joyce, of Chester, NH, her nieces Jessica and Nicole Chames and her nephew Gregory Chames.    

SERVICES: Calling hours will be held on Monday, February 5, 2024 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, in Manchester, NH. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 5 p.m. Interment will be private.   

In lieu of flowers, it has been suggested that those who wish may make memorial contributions to The Hooksett Community Food Pantry (https://k16021.site.kiwanis.org/community-food-pantry/)  in memory of Ms. Chames.
