Jerry Jeremiah C. Ouellette, 60, of 500 Chestnut Street, died August 24, 2004 in Manchester. He was born in Rochester on September 10, 1943, the son of Charles and Alice (Lefebvre) Ouellette and had been a resident of the Manchester area for most of his life. He was a U.S. Army Veteran during the Vietnam Era and was a paratrooper with the 101st Airborne Division. He was a flooring contractor for many years and has also worked as a subcontractor for Southern New Hampshire University. Family members include two sons, Eric Mathewson of Springlake, NC and Mark Ouellette of Concord; a daughter, Jessica Galvin of Merrimack; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild; two sisters, Rose Currier of Maine and Claudette Ouellette of NH; and nephews, nieces and cousins. A memorial gathering will take place at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street on Sunday from 1 to 2 PM with a memorial service to follow in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 PM. Urn burial with military honors will take place at a later date at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen.
