Jill Stewart Buelte, 80, of Hopkinton, NH, passed away on April 6, 2024 at Concord Hospital. Born on September 21, 1943 in Baltimore, MD, she was a daughter of the late William and Emmagene Flack. She shared 55 years of marriage with her husband, Robert C. Buelte.

Jill resided in Baltimore until she was four, when her family relocated to the South Coast of Massachusetts. She resided in Fairhaven, MA for 11 years and later in Dartmouth, MA. She attended the Katherine Gibbs Finishing School and was a graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University. Jill worked as a secretary for the State of New Hampshire in the health and human services department for many years. She and Robert raised their sons in Chester, NH. She was a proud mother to Rob and Steve and spent countless hours bringing them to sports activities and to visit friends and family, especially her parents in Tamworth, NH. She created many special family memories visiting various lakes in New Hampshire. She was also involved in many political campaigns over the years and often volunteered to go door to door or make phone calls for candidates. Jill found great comfort in her faith and was a member of the First Congregational Church of East Derry for many years and more recently the First Congregational Church of Hopkinton. Above all else, Jill was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister who cherished time spent with her family.

Jill is survived by her husband, Robert C. Buelte of Hopkinton, NH; her sons, Robert W. Buelte and his wife Julie of Hopkinton, NH, and Steven Buelte and his wife Anna of East Greenbush, NY; her siblings, William Flack and his wife Carol of Dartmouth, MA, and George Flack and his wife Ginny of Cornelius, NC; her grandchildren, Claire, Kyle, Gwyneth, Juniper and Laurel Buelte; as well as nieces, nephews and extended family members. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Roberta Flack; her beloved dogs, Pixie and Jock; as well as her two cats who she had inherited from her sister, Roberta.

A graveside service will take place on Friday, May 3 at 11AM at the New Hopkinton Cemetery, New Cemetery Road, Hopkinton, NH.
