Jo-Ann Francis

Jo-Ann Francis, 60, of 1099 Hooksett Road, Hooksett, died in New Boston on October 13, 2008. She was born in Chelsea, MA on August 11, 1948, the daughter of Robert and Ruth (Anderson) Francis and had been a Manchester area resident for most of her life. She was a hairdresser and owned and operated The Cutter's Den in Hooksett. She loved going to Foxwoods and spending summers at the "campground". She was a loving mother and grandmother. Family members include her husband, Robert Dupont; her mother of Hooksett; three daughters, Silvia Dupont of Salem, Michele Hovestadt of Hillsboro and Heather McKillop of Germany; six grandchildren; a brother, Robert Francis of Bedford; a sister, Ruth Basner of Candia; and nephews, nieces and cousins. Calling hours will be at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday morning at 10:00 in St. Catherine Church. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
