Joan C. Dionne-Coughlin

Joan C. Dionne-Coughlin , 71, died June 28, 2008 at Harborside Northwood Health Care in Bedford after a long illness. She was born in Goffstown, NH on November 30, 1936 the daughter of Joseph and Corinne (Goudreault) Chatigny. Mrs. Dionne was a lifelong resident of Manchester. She worked for many years as a secretary for the Union Leader Corp. She was a parishioner of St. Pius X Church and was a devoted mother , grandmother. She loved to travel to Maine and spend time and cook for her family .She was a graduate of Central High School She was Predeceased by her first husband Francis Coughlin who died in 1988 and her second husband Alfred J. Dionne who died in 2001. Family members included one son Francis Coughlin of Manchester; two stepsons Andre Dionne from Manchester, NH and Raymond Dionne of Goffstown, NH ; three stepdaughters Mrs Scott (Aurore) Dionne Eaton of Manchester, NH , Mrs Armand (Suzanne) Paquin of Goffstown, NH and Mrs Peter (Denise) Dionne Mitchell of Bow, NH; and many cousins. IN HER LIFE She leaves behind her two grandchildren Francis P. Coughlin and Kristina M. Coughlin both of Manchester and her 10 Step-grandchildren. Calling hours will be at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium 243 Hanover St. corner of Union street on Tuesday 9:00 -11:00 AM with a service following at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel.
